Sig M400 Review

The Sig Sauer M400 enhanced is one of the companies AR pattern models chambered in 5.56. It comes with the Magpul MOE collapsable stock, grip and handgaurd. It also has a flat top receiver with a rear flip up sight, and push button sling swivel mounts on both sides of the receiver.
The Magpul stock, grip, and handgaurd, are comfortable and feel solid. The handgaurd has slots for mounting accessory rails allowing the addition of 4 lengths of picatinny rail. The grip has a removable cover on the bottom concealing a small compartment which can be used to store batteries for optics or spare parts. The butt stock collapses easily and is comfortable when shouldering the rifle and its rounded edges do not hang up on clothing.
The rifle is well balanced and the ambi mag release is nice when shooting off hand for right handed shooters. I experienced no malfunctions so far. The spring located on the lower receiver to reduce wobble by creating tension between the upper and lower receiver does its job reducing wobble substantially.
Over all I find the Sig Sauer M400 enhanced to be a fine specimen of the large selection of AR 15 rifles on the market today.
